Last night attended a function from the previous place i used to work at, my friend who still works there had organised a table for us gals...

the theme was carnivale.... ppl playing drums when we were waiting to get in
Venue was held off a wharf in Pyrmont... at the back there was a person doing a flame spinning show

the menu.....
wild mushroom risotto with white truffle and pancetta
confit of chicken with soft white polenta and pine nuts
dessert : lemon meringue tart, double choco tart, pavalova, burnt orange brulee and tea flavoured panna cotta
sweets for after the meal with the coffee
we stayed over night at star city apartments... slept at 3am @@

can't believe there was someone swimming on a cold morning like today...
we were starving.. so had yum cha in chinatown, prawn dumplings, scallop dumpling, pork ribs, siu mai, "bouncing" beef balls, bbq pork steamed rice rolls
fried rice rolls, mango crepe
chinese veges, black sesame balls, milk and egg custard pineapple buns
my favourite.. chicken feet ... muah!
