Since its winter here in aust,.... i made pumpkin soup...
chopped all the veges and cooked in the stock with spices- cinnamon, nutmeg and cumin
after 30 mins of simmering, it was blended
then put back in the pot and cream stirred thru
ready to serve with butter toasted sour dough bread
and there is more.... had left over pumpkin so turned that into puddding...
beated egg yolks + sugar... when "white" added vanilla essence
boiled milk and agar powder in a saucepan
the hot milk mixture was added to the beaten egg mix then mashed pumpking added
whisked everything in the bowl
poured in ramekins.. then placed in fridge.... see how it goes when it sets tomorrow....
