The 五月天- MayDay concert was at Sydney Entertainment Centre and the venue was full considering it being a chinese concert.

The band has been around for just over 10yrs which is again rare for chinese bands to be around so long. They usually last for 3 years and they are over. Which is one of the reasons why i like japanese rock groups better.

Well i was totally surprised people took pictures and were able to record stuff on their cameras and no one tried to stop them... this is a first.

I remember last year when i went to Jay Chou 周杰倫, it was banned big time.

I gotta say 五月天 was way better than Jay, not that i'm being biased that i like rock bands than pop music, but these guys had 3 encores... that's the most i've seen out of my concert experience.

They were also really nice in the way they reached out to the audience.

I gotta say though, the vocalist, doesn't have a unique voice like the v-rock guys do, his range was more like the western music blokes... plain, no much verbrato going, but not hard core shouting.

Songs were had great tune so it was enjoyable! Overall, its not those rock band concerts where there is a mosh pit or you get to, head abang, flick you hair side to side or swing your head over the rails.
