The great barrier of reef.. home of nemo.. has many islands... you can actually swim in this region.. no jellyfish unlike the beaches off Cairns like Palm Cove and Port Douglas etc. 
We took a boat from Cairns to Green Island via boat..
walk to the island from the boat ramp.. there is my sis trying to get hold of herself from the horrendous boat ride (＞＜;)

made it... there is a pool on the island.. no one there coz they are all at the beach
we went snorkling, while my parents went sightseeing
me checking what under the water.... underwater camera is so cool!

parents went on the glass bottom boat- corals and fish
later on we all went on the "yellow submarine"

what we saw through the glass... warning: don't go on a windy day.. every boat ride ROCKs like hell... trust me you will be "green" of sickness
back to the island.. time to swim at the beach
