Took of work before 5pm today as i was invited to go to a band competition at the Piano room over at Kings Cross. 
The venue was pretty exclusive just under the infamous coke sign. My friend's bro was performing so was there for support the group. Really enjoyed the performance! from the performances i stayed for today, they were the best.
Surprisingly I bumped into an ex-colleague tonight. Her son was also taking part of the competition. I couldn't believe it... such a small world isn't it? Was really nice to catch up with her.
Apparently first prize is having the privilege to play live on Thursday nights at this bar where this is being sponsored by absolute ( the vodka), since one of those classy venues then for a performer this would be a great niche to show yourself.
I wonder who is the winner tonight... had to leave early coz i have to work tomorrow. I just love watching music performances.. especially bands... ahhhh i wish i was living in Japan. I would so go to those live houses whenever i can.....
so when is the next v- rock festival? i'm am so going this yr again if there is... but this time alone 
i don't know anyone who likes what i listen to here so can't drag anyone with me... i'll have enough guts i reckon by that time to rock up by myself... no one will notice that i'm a foreigner for sure... hehehe....
it's past 12 midnight.. need too sleep...
