Had high tea today at the Observatory Hotel at The Rocks.
It was a bit of walk as it was away from the main area of The Rocks and the city.
Since i got there early-ish i waited outside the restaurant, it's such a boutique hotel, so grand.
And this is what were we all waiting for!! the special Easter high tea !!o(^▽^)o
There was white chocolate and chocolate + figs scones with cream and strawberry jam, chcolate brulee, chocolate mousse, rose flavoured macaroons, chocolate + coffee torte, white chocolate torte with an easter egg and the traditional serving of sandwiches i.e smoked salmon, cucumber and egg + mayonaise and pastry of quiche lorraine.
As for the teas, we had english breakfast, ocean breeze and chai.
As expected, you get the best variety here, well compared to the ones i've been to in Sydney. Everything tasted so fresh out of the oven... delicious.
This is too cute to eat, the icing deco on top of the mini choco cupcake (^_^)v
we also received an house made easter egg gift from the hotel during the tea !! didn't expect that to come with the package!! That's the package with the ribbon.

It looks like a real egg, though chocolate of course. Thats what easter is all about... chocolates.... hehehe...
