Today is a special day! It's my father's birthday~ He turned 62. I love you Papa~!! ♥

My name

Today, I started thinking about when will I really start learning Japanese on my own. I can't afford to go to formal classes yet because they're so costly! ( ￣っ￣)

First problem that I encountered: How do I write my name 「EDEN 」 - in Japanese?

エデン <- eh-den
イデン <- i-den
遺伝 <- iden

The first two are the katakana of my name, differs in the first character depending on the pronunciation. It's really 'i-den', if in English (like the paradise of Eden). But here in our country, my parents normally call me the 'e-den'....

It's complicated, isn't it?

But I already decided that I'll use the second one from now on.

So.. what to do now. I have this, two livejournals (consider it three if you'll add my test journal), and my Multiply blog. Did you notice I love to add burden to myself? I can barely keep up with all the stuff I'm watching and reading, plus school, and yet...

Hm. I don't think I can use this for fangirling (since some of my idols are under this obviously )... so I guess I'll just be random everytime I post!

But it's weird if I don't post at least one Japanese character, right? Right. I think so, too... but there's nothing I can do about that right now..

Whatever. I'm still exploring this and honestly, I'm having a really really hard time.
