Today, I started thinking about when will I really start learning Japanese on my own. I can't afford to go to formal classes yet because they're so costly! ( ̄っ ̄)
First problem that I encountered: How do I write my name 「EDEN 」 - in Japanese?

エデン <- eh-den
イデン <- i-den
遺伝 <- iden
The first two are the katakana of my name, differs in the first character depending on the pronunciation. It's really 'i-den', if in English (like the paradise of Eden). But here in our country, my parents normally call me the 'e-den'....
It's complicated, isn't it?

But I already decided that I'll use the second one from now on.
