ウェルカムボードの資材集めに吉祥寺のユザワヤに行きました。
ユザワヤは、それまでに浦和と新宿（今は閉店しています）に行ったことがありましたが、吉祥寺のユザワヤはちょっと前にリニューアルして、とっても綺麗で広々としていました
そんなに混んでなかったし、今まで行った中で一番買い物がしやすかったかもしれません
ものすごい種類の布から、気に入ったものを見つけました
そして、クォートを印刷した紙の周りに貼るリボンも
デザイナーズギルドっぽい

ローラアシュレイっぽい
本当は、デザイナーズギルド本家の布を使いたかったのですが、日本にあるものはカーテンやクッションカバー用で、ウェルカムボードにするには柄が大きくて綺麗にいかないことがわかりました
ちょうどブランドの母国、イギリスに旅行に行く友人がいたので、デパートなどでみてもらうよう頼めたのですが、やはりそこでもベットカバーやカーテンが主で、小さい範囲で飾れるような布は売っていなかったとのこと
ということで、ユザワヤで似た感じの好みに合う布を探しました
布はセールで、1m ¥500
レースのリボンは、木馬リボンで1m ¥1000くらい
ボルドーのリボンは、1m ¥200くらい
満足な買い物ができました🎵

So, I started making the welcome baord for our wedding.
I wanted to make something not too gorgeous, too funcy, but something we can put on our living room after the wedding.

How to make is so simple.
I just need the favorite fabric, paper with a favorite quote, and flame.
I have a favorite brand for textile, Designers Guild
But in Japan, I could get only too bigger fabric to use for the board, such as curtain and bed cover.
So, I visited to get the similar fabric at a local handcraft shop.
Then, I got them.
Fabric, 1m for 500 yen
Wine red ribbon, 1m for 200 yen
Lace ribbon (Mokuba ribbon), 1m for 1000yen
There were too many choices at the handcraft store, but I really enjoyed choosing them and looking forward to further board making
