I have tried to move the data from the HDD from my dead laptop. However, when I connected the external HDD which has been used on my dead laptop, it did not work at all. I could manage to connect it. However, the HDD did not work properly. Therefore, I will try to take the data from the HDD slowly without forcing it. And I will buy a new external HDD for the backup purpose of my new main laptop. As my new main laptop works for the daily jobs, it is ok. The data transfer is not straight forward as I thought...
