PRAY FOR JAPAN

生きていく上で必要なのは、

「自分はひとりじゃない」と

思い出させてくれる友人の存在。

いまの日本でもまさに同じことが

言えるのではないでしょうか。

励ましの言葉を必要としている人が、

きっとたくさんいる・・・

国境も海も越えて吹く風が私たちを結びつけ、

誰にも変わらぬ希望を

与えてくれると思います。

日本の皆さんに、たくさんの希望と

連帯のもとに幸福が再び戻って来るという

メッセージを送りたいと思います。

In our lives, we need friends to remind us that we are not alone,

and this is indeed the case in Japan now. I imagine there are lots of people

who need these warm encouraging words.

The wind blowing across borders and oceans will unite us and bring hope to everyone.

I want to deliver this message to the Japanese people that happiness will return with more

hope and unity than ever.
