So this is the off brand Chinese version of a Chinese movie made in America.
Hmmmm... I like it but it just shouldnt have been called Mulan. It just doesnt feel like Mulan the animation.

We need more female characters in films like this. Mulan does not become a soldier because she wants more from life or because she thinks she can be as good as any man. She does that because she wants to protect her ailing father. This strenght and selflessness are truly inspirational.

Yeah its different but after reading up on the real story I have an appreciation for Disney for making this for us. I dont think of it as a live action remake but as a different movie to show you another aspect of Mulan's true heroism. Yes mushu being here in some way wouldve been cool but Disney is obviously not going for a comedy. And a non funny mushu would suck a little.

When Disney made a shot to shot remake of the lion king people criticized it for being exactly the same as the original. Now they are making something different and everyone's complaining about it being different. People are so stupid.

They keep posting same scenes OVER AND OVER, NOTHING NEW! Did you shot anything else beside these. SHOW US NEW MATERIAL! Grhhh I was so disappointed in Emma in Beauty and the Beast (but I did like the film, and Belle is my fave princess) Mulan is my 3d fave (after Belle & Pocahontas) and I really hope its gonna be good! 1:25 you can see the pure love in Mulan's eyes she has for her father that finally pushed her to sacrifice everything and risk her life for him and her family. I have to say though realistically this was a stupid move. If her father died they could have retained family honour. if she died and they will find out she's a family honour would be ruined. Still though I love how disney did their homework and captured perfectly, how deep east Asians value filial piety.
