亀戸天神と亀戸七福神
亀戸の名前は知ってはいたが訪れたのは初めてだった。梅の亀戸天神が有名、下町で町工場のあるところ、あるいは漫画「こち亀」の舞台だなというのがなんとなくのイメージだ。一方で関東大震災の際、社会主義者らが虐殺された亀戸事件という暗いイメージもあった。
亀戸駅を出発して明治通り、蔵前橋通りをゆくと亀戸天神。鳥居をくぐると広重の浮世絵で有名な太鼓橋がある。背景にスカイツリーがどんと！見えるのが今の太鼓橋だ。目の前に、時期ではないが藤棚が広がっている。天神様なので、初詣はもとより、合格祈願らしい若者もいた。本殿は大きいし、池も立派だ。池に亀がいるらしいが見えなかった。なかなか立派だという印象だ。
ここから亀戸七福神めぐり。まずは寺のわき水が眼病にきいたという龍眼寺は布袋様、わたしは目があまりよくないのでお参りした。天祖神社は福禄寿、長寿と少しのお金もお願いした。普門院は伊藤左千夫の墓がある、毘沙門天をまつる。香取神社は最近スポーツ振興の神を宣伝、水泳の池江のパネルもある。東覚寺は弁財天。最後の常光寺は寿老人、大勢の老人がお参りした。
亀戸は、天神社も良かったし、下町風情の路地もよかった。駅前で、昼からやっている大衆居酒屋でお神酒をいただいた。正月らしい見学会でした。2023.1.10
Kameido Tenjin and Kameido Shichifukujin
I knew the name of Kameido, but it was my first time visit. Kameido Tenjin is famous for its plum blossoms, and I have a vague image of it being a downtown area with small factories, or the setting of the manga "Kochikame". On the other hand, there was also a dark image of the Kameido Incident, in which socialists were massacred during the Great Kanto Earthquake.
We left Kameido Station and walked along Meiji Dori and Kuramaebashi Dori to Kameido Tenjin Shrine. After passing through the torii gate, there is the Taiko Bridge famous for Hiroshige's Ukiyo-e. The current Taiko Bridge, the sky tree being in its background, is the one we can see in the picture. Wisteria trellis spreads out in front of us, though it is not the season. For Tenjin, there were young people who seemed to be praying not only for New Year's visits but also for passing exams. The main shrine is big and the pond is splendid. I heard there are turtles in the pond, but I couldn't see them. The impression is that it is quite splendid.
Kameido Shichifukujin Seven Lucky Gods Tour from here. First of all, there is Ryugenji Temple, where the spring water of the temple is said to have helped with eye disease. I prayed for my poor eyesight. This temple is Hotei-sama. Tenso Shrine asked for Fukurokuju, longevity and a little money. Fumon-in enshrines Bishamonten, the tomb of Sachio Ito. Katori Shrine has recently advertised the god of sports promotion, and there is also a panel of swimmer Ikee. Togakuji Temple is Benzaiten. At the last Jokoji Temple, longevity Jurojin, a large number of old people prayed.
In Kameido, the Tenjin Shrine was good, and the alleys with a downtown atmosphere were good. In front of the station, we had sacred sake at a public pub that was open from noon.
