Toshishun "To the dream world of masterpieces"

A masterpiece(名作) by Ryunosuke Akutagawa. November 5, I watched a reading(朗読) drama() by Hazuki Hasegawa at the Kichijoji Theater. It's a novel I read a long time ago, but it's a vague(うろ) recollection(おぼえ).

One day, without money, Tshishun was standing at the gates of Rakuyo(洛陽), the capital of Tou(唐都). There, an old squint(斜視) man looking for him says, ``If you dig(掘る) at the head in the shadow of the setting sun, you can get gold and silver treasures!'' As a result, he acquired(獲得) gold and silver treasures. Tshishun called his friends and acquaintances(知人) to play and used up all his treasure. His friends have left, and when he is standing alone at the castle gate, an old man appears again... Next, he tries to become a hermit(仙人), but is told, "Don't say a word to the evil() spirit()s who come to seduce(誘惑) or threaten(脅かす) you." I was moved by the reading, the background(背景) of the stage, and the sound effects. This may be the first time I've read a novel in such depth.

In addition, Futabatei Shimei and Osamu Dazai's novels were read aloud.
