Sarah Robles

Boys & girls with immense upper bodies always fascinate me. My first crush was a boy; in 2013, I fell in love with a classmate of mine. He was by far taller and heavier than me. That was when I realized that I'm bisexual & I love the particular body shape. So far I've introduced some of my crushes: fetish model Amazon Anya, cosplayer Al*sha Lag*na, & Olympics athlete Valerie Adams. Those girls usually lack popularity. The body type is very different and unique compared to that of typical models or athletes. Happy for me, this situation has been changing little by little. These days, more and more buff, meaty girls become Olympics athletes, making me totally excited.

On this article, I will spotlight another impressive example: Sarah Robles. She's been active in the world of weight-lifting, & appeared in Tokyo Olympic Games.

Despite being the highest-ranked weightlifter in the United States, Robles lived on less than $400 a month leading up to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Commentators have suggested that this was the result both of the lack of popular attention to the sport of weightlifting, as well as Robles and other women in the sport having larger body types than those of women athletes traditionally portrayed in mass media. Robles has been quoted as saying that, "You can get that sponsorship if you're a super-built guy or a girl who looks good in a bikini. But not if you're a girl who's built like a guy."
