For starters, Lagos has the smallest land mass in the country so why do we spend long hours in traffic?! Again, did you know that travelling across Northern Nigeria can easily equate to the number of hours an average commuter spends in traffic? 😅 . . In Decemeber of 2018, my friend and I had to 'trek' for more than a kilometer after seeing a good stage play @musonng . What happened? A tanker collapsed and it caused this terrible chain reaction and even though necessary authorities were on site to ease movement, there was hardly any. Argh! 😫 . . The beautiful thing about this city is we've got the most population, over 21 million people! And while some may argue that this is the main cause of traffic congestion, others surprisingly think different. 😉 . . In this blogpost (#LinkinBio), I share with you opinions of our forefathers, past governors, traffic experts and travel consultants and how they've worked to curb this problem since 1967! 🤓 . . Before scrolling, what is your most memorable Lagos gridlock experience? Kindly share. 🤗 . .
