ボニーMはドイツ出身のディスコバンドです
1970年代から1980年代にかけて活動していました
この曲 Rivers of Babylon の原曲は
聖書の 詩編第137篇1-4節を題材に作られ
亡命したユダヤ人の嘆きを表現した
賛美歌だったそうです
深い祈りのような切なさが
心をぎゅっとつかんで
離れた土地での孤独と
信じるものへの渇望が
音に震えて伝わってきます
心がふるえて
でもどこかで救われるような
そんな気持ちになる曲です
