I really like to sing and dance with kids and (and grown ups!) all over Japan.
Last Thursday I went to Higashi Totsuka in Kanagawa-Ken to play at Todai Yochien. この前の木曜日に神奈川県東戸塚にある東台幼稚園でイベントをやりました。子供達、先生たち、そうして東台幼稚園父母の会のお母さんたちもみんなとても元気！
イベントの部屋に入ったら、びっくり！うちの猫、ミープ、の似顔絵まで書いてくれました！
独特なヒゲまで書きましたね!

僕はクリスマスが大好きです。毎年アメリカの実家で家族のみんなと過ごしています。ノールウェー系のアメリカ人の家は大抵、Christmas Eveの夜の食事が終わった頃、サンタさんが家を訪ねて、プレゼントを配ります！（だいたいサンタさんが来る時には男性の親戚の誰かがいなくなるけどね！）その時、子供達がサンタさんのお手伝いをします。一年の中での一番ワクワクドキドキするモーメント！
今回のビデオは僕の実家のクリスマスの本当の姿の写真や動画を集めて、「Santa Claus is Coming to Town」の歌に合わせて作りました。ちっちゃい頃のエリックの映像もあるよ！
I am so very thankful to have been brought up in a loving family: my immediate family and my wonderful relatives who have, over the years, been a part of something that is bigger than the sum of its parts. Something with history and a continuation of caring for each other.
Many Norwegian American families celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. Many of these families are treated to a personal visit from Santa Claus himself after dinner! This was always the high point of the year for me when I was a little kid, and Santa has always found the time to personally visit our home every Christmas Eve since then. He’s a good guy! So, I thought I would put a little video together of Santa visiting our house over the years beginning in about 1967 or so. Hope you enjoy it!
