I am amazed that anyone is still using anything java from Microsoft. My suggestion would be to switch to a different IDE. There are many to choose from:

Note: don't use the numpad for player 2 with Internet Explorer, the keyboard is not handled correctly. Tips UNIX: Remember to remove keyboard autorepeat with xset -r
