Every morning Aubrey is forcibly awoken by her screeching alarm at 8:30am. However, groaning and cursing the nightout before, where she comes to conclude that she had drank too much, she proceeds to hit the snooze button 3 times which buys her another 15 minutes of rest. As she reaches to hit the snooze button a 4th time, she actually takes notice of the time and scrambles out of bed with a yelp.

'Shit! I'm going to be late! Chase, why didn't you wake me up?' she says to her lounging friend as she scrambles around grabbing clothes to wear for the day. She then runs into the shower and slams the door.

When she emerges she's always in the same type of clothes- knee length pencil skirt in either black or charcoal grey and a pressed white button down shirt. She checks the time and her reflection in the mirror and groans.

'Oh my God! Would you look at my hair?! It's an absolute birds nest.' She says dramaticly flailing about motioning to her damp and quickly frizzing hair. Chase always lies quietly looking on.
Humans are interesting creatures of habit. Every word and action has been pre-determined based on previous events that they have either witnessed or experienced in their lives. The surprising thing is almost all fail to realize it. All are delusioned to the point where they actually believe all their actions and decisions are free-standing, independent acts.

Take Aubrey for example. She's a some-what attractive 30 something single woman with unruley auburn hair and green eyes. She is an Administrative Assistant, which is just a fancy way of saying secretary, and has no intentions of crawling up the proverbial corperate ladder. She lives in a decent apartment on the good side of town and owns an old but fiesty brown haired terrier to whom she has named Chase.
