> 頭の中は太地のことでいっぱい。体だけは格闘技イベント会場にありましたが、すでに心は太地にありました。試合を観戦し、閉会の挨拶を済ませ、主催者たちと夕食に出かけたのですが、その間もずっと今回の太地行きがどういうものになるのかを考えていました。イルカ漁師たちから威嚇されるんだろうか、シーシェパードの活動家たちからどういう侮辱を受けるんだろうか、私は不安でした。

> そのとき格闘技ジムの生徒の両親が和歌山県出身だったことを思い出し、町を案内してくれそうな人を知らないか電話で聞いてみました。100％単独行動のため右も左もわからず、宿泊先も、まずどこに行けばいいかもわからないのです。すると生徒が、太地生まれ太地育ちで私の大ファンでぜひ町を案内したいというラッキーという男性を紹介してくれました。やった！！！！
> さらにフェイスブックのおかげで、親切な方々から連絡をいただき滞在先に関するご助言などもいただきました。

> ところで菜食ダイエットの方は今のところうまくいっていて、皮肉にも滞在中のホテルのロビーで売られている豆腐バーガーを2つ部屋に持ち帰り、ぺろりと平らげました。

> and they clued me in one some tips about Taiji and where most people

> Tofu Burgers in the lobby of my hotel which I bought 2 of and gobbled
