名古屋大須在住の与作です。名古屋市千種区池下にある「串屋」さんに行ってきました。ここは駅前にある、地元民に愛される人気の大衆食堂。屋号だけを見れば串物居酒屋のようだが、現在のメニュー構成は食堂そのもの。和食定食を中心に中華料理も小さい町中華並みに充実しています。
最寄り駅の名古屋市営地下鉄・東山線「池下駅」の北側バスターミナル前にお店はあります。ビールやお酒に合うおつまみや一品料理が豊富にありのんびりと昼呑みを楽しめます。一人でも初めてでも入りやすい食堂ではないかと思います。

I'm Yosaku who lives in Osu, Nagoya. I went to Kushiya in Ikeshita, Chikusa-ku, Nagoya City. This is a popular popular diner in front of the station, loved by the locals. The name alone suggests a yakitori tavern, but the current menu structure is that of a diner itself. It mainly serves Japanese food, but also has a full lineup of Chinese dishes as well as small Chinese specialty restaurants.
The restaurant is located in front of the bus terminal on the north side of the nearest station, Ikeshita Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama Line. The restaurant offers a wide variety of snacks and a la carte dishes that go well with beer and other alcoholic beverages, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely lunchtime drink. It is an easy place to enter, even if you are alone or a first-timer.
