名古屋大須在住の与作です。名古屋市東区葵にある「むらさき本店」さんに行ってきました。ここは昭和55年創業、令和6年現在で44年続く老舗の大衆酒場。大手居酒屋チェーンの加盟店としてスタートされたそうです。店内は古き良き昭和の雰囲気で、メニューも昔ながらの定番料理を中心に豊富にあります。
最寄り駅のJR東海中央本線・市営地下鉄東山線「千種駅」から徒歩約3分の駅近店。総席数50席のそこそこ広めの居酒屋ですが、カウンター席があるので一人でも入りやすい。店内BGMは昭和テイストで心が落ち着きます。昭和生まれにはどこか懐かしく感じる大衆居酒屋さんですよ。

The interior has a good old Showa-era atmosphere, and the menu is rich with a variety of classic dishes.
The restaurant is located near the nearest station, Chikusa Station on the JR Tokai Chuo Main Line and Higashiyama Municipal Subway Line, which is about a 3-minute walk away. It is a large izakaya with a total of 50 seats, but it is easy to come in alone as there are counter seats. The background music in the restaurant is soothing with many Showa-era songs.
