名古屋大須在住の与作です。愛知県稲沢市高御堂にある「スエヒロ」さんに行ってきました。ここは、はだか祭りで有名な尾張大國霊神社、通称・国府宮神社の門前町にある老舗のとんかつ専門店。外観の渋さが目を引く食堂だが、有名店で修業されたご主人が作るとんかつは本格的で丁寧に作られている。
最寄り駅の名鉄名古屋本線「国府宮駅」から徒歩1分、ほぼ駅前の場所にお店があります。人気は「とんかつ定食(550円)」「ミソカツライス付き(750円)」。けっして派手さはないが、注文を受けてから肉を叩き、衣をつけ、揚げたとんかつは、熱々で懐かしく美味しい。

The exterior of the restaurant is austere and eye-catching, but the tonkatsu prepared by the owner, who was trained at a famous restaurant, are authentic and carefully prepared.
The restaurant is located almost in front of the station, a one-minute walk from Konomiya Station on the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line, the nearest station. The most popular dishes are the tonkatsu set meal (550 yen) and miso katsu with rice (750 yen).
