名古屋大須在住の与作です。名古屋市中村区西米野町にある「とんかつ八千仙」さんに行ってきました。こちらは大正～昭和時代にかけて存在した「ステーキハウス八千代本店(錦3丁目)」さんの分店。ミシュランビブグルマンに選出された、同じ中村区内にある「八千代味清」さんも八千代本店の分店なんだそうです。
最寄り駅の市営地下鉄桜通線の「中村区役所駅」から徒歩3分、店舗近くに専用駐車場もあります。今回は緊急事態宣言中で酒類提供停止だったため、残念ながらビールが飲めませんでしたが、名店の味を引き継ぐ老舗で頂いたトンカツは格別の美味しさでした。
