愛知県一宮市泉に残る遊郭跡地・旧赤線地帯の「花岡園」を歩いてきました。愛知県の遊郭で有名なところでは「名楽園(中村区)」「城東園(北区)」「八幡園(中川区)」などがありますが一宮市にも存在していました。しかし全国はもちろん一宮市民にもあまり知られておらず情報は少ない。
一宮市は人口約38万人、愛知県で第4位(2019年)の中核都市。名古屋駅から最速10分の便の良さから名古屋のベッドタウンでもあります。花岡園は一宮駅から徒歩18分ほど。遺構は少ないものの歩けばここが遊郭・赤線地帯だったのは感じられると思います。住宅街の中に風俗やスナックが何の違和感もなく存在するのが面白い。
全国の遊郭建築物が保存や修復されることなく取り壊されていることを知り、この先無くなると思い、残されている街を自分の目で確かめアーカイブしておきたくなり動画を撮影・アップしました。
