年末年始に関わる英単語をチェックしておきましょう！
何かで使うかもしれません
新年は英語で？！
New year ですね！
元旦は？
New year's day
では、大晦日はなんて言うでしょう？！

シンプルな英語で説明してみましょう
お年玉
Otoshidama means the money given by adults to children as a new year's gift. Children are looking forward to getting them from their parents
or relatives once a year.
初詣
Hatsumode means that going to shrines to pray for the family's safety and health in the new year.
お正月休み
Oshogatsu yasumi means the holidays for new year days, usually it starts from December 28th or 29th to January 3rd. During the holidays my family gets together to celebrate the new year.
年賀状は、次回にします
