うふやー Noodle Restaurant

How fast time flies!

I was not able to update my blog such a looong time.

You may wonder wheather above picture

has somethingk to do with noodle.

It doesn't really show clearly,

but there acutually is a water fall behind

tropical plants, too.

At the noodle restaurant "U-fu-ya",

you can enjoy beautiful view as well as yummy Okinawan noodle.

The restaurant building is a traditional style Okinawan house

dating back to Meiji era.

If you are heading to Motobu,

"U-fu-ya" is a good place to make a stop and have lunch.

乗馬 Horse Riding ♪

Mihara Horse Club  

is one of a few horse riding schools in Okinawa.

The school provide various lessons

and pony/ horse ride to the beach for visitors.

Information on each program is available through above club site.

Staff includes both Japanese and Americans,

so you can take advantage of learning English as well as horse riding.

I tried beach tour with friends

which lasted about 2 hours and a half.

It started from basic riding lesson within the fascilities,

and after I felt comfortable being on a horse

we headed toward a nearby beach.

　Waters were a bit rough,　

but we still enjoyed pleasant walk by the seashore.

On the way back, we went up the hill　

where horses and ponies can treat themselves with soilage.

All the way along the beach tour,

very friendly and skilled American staff accompanied us.

Horse riding experience is far better than I expected

and I am planning to go back there again soon.

Cozy Log House Cafe いずみが森 ☆

Izumi area in Nago is famouse for various cozy cafes

and Izumiga-mori is one of them.

You can visit a nice log house cafe in Nago,

which is about 20mins drive from Churaumi Aquarium.

Lunch Curry Plate

Fresh veggie salad with original dressing.

Baked cheese cake is also very nice

and you can choose either to eat inside the cafe

or in the open air looking down the mountains.

You can stay at the log house at very reasonable price,

and you can reserve the whole house from two persons.
