課題見直しで得た事をただのメモ程度ですが載せたいと思います。

（Gerund）動名詞ing と　（Imperative)命令形の違い

ing はフレンドリーでニュートラルな感じ。抽象的なレポート、記述に使用する。
命令形は教育的で教師的にきこえる。アドバイスを与えるような文でない場合には注意して使用する。または避ける。
たとえば健康や美容のマニュアルのようなニュアンスになる。

Exposed 明るみにでる。世間の目にさらされる
extention つながっているが、そとに出ている。

身体の部分の名称は、単数複数かかわらずthe がつくことが非常に多い
the hands , the head

Whileは便利な接続詞。"on the other hand” と同義

Intuitionは人間がもっている幅広い意味での”感覚””直感”　
→Many bosses rely on their intuition when hiring people.
instinctは人間も動物も持っている"感覚””本能”限定的である.
→A mother with young children is said to have sharpened instincts, because she is always thinking about protecting her children.

Stimuli は stimulus の複数形

Whole　何も残さない、何も漏らさない
entire 完全。なにも付け加えるものがない。
The entire house was quiet. The dog ate the whole loaf of bread that we left on the table and forgot to put away.

Hang a strap つり革をもちあげる　（put up a strap)
grab on to　または　hold a strap は滑ったり落ちたりしないように手でもっていること。電車のつり革にはこちらの表現を使う。
