Today’s image is chestnuts cakes.
I was browsing cakes at a department store to bring them for mom.
I saw a lot of chestnuts sweets there because it is the fruits that evoke our autumn. We have a culture to enjoy each season to see or eat seasonal foods in Japan.
I chose chestnuts cakes for her and me. Actually, my sister also enjoyed some.
It was so nice to have time together with cakes and our conversation.

今日は栗のケーキです。母の家に行くお土産にケーキをデパ地下で物色していました。もう、秋一色でしたね。選ぶのに時間がかかりました。汗
今回は栗が大好きな母のためにモンブランにしました。
年中あるモンブランですが、秋に食べるモンブランは味は一緒かもしれませんが、気分が違います。(笑)
もちろんおいしかったですよ。妹も合流し、みんなでいただきました。
