ついさっき母親から電話がありました。
「５日間停電で大変だったのよ～。学校も１０日間休みで会社も１週間休みだったのよ」

My mom just called and informed me that almost all of Houston had (and still dont) no power for about a week.. Schools were (are??) out for 10 days, and my dad couldn't go to work for a week either. They finally got power back at the house, but said some other areas will take over 2 weeks. eeek. I wonder what they're going to do. My dad's coming tomorrow :) I'm glad my sister's there to take care of Mom :)
