◆Tatebayashi city
Mom didn't get satisfied with the koinobori in Atsugi. She wanted to look upon lots of koinoboris swimming above the ground. But koinobori in Atugi was different from what she images.
Tatebayashi is about 120km north from Yokohama. It's so famous for "heat". People say that Tatebayashi is the hottest place in Japan. Actually it's far hotter than Yokohama. The day we visited there was also hot.
We got an information about the koinobori event in Tatebayashi. It has the largest number of koinoboris. The record of koinoboris (banners) is once recorded on Guiness as a festival with the most banners in the world.

But Mom didn't look satisfied with koinoboris there. She did want to look upon them from the ground. It didn't matter more or less.
But we did nothing to do, The only thing we could do was to take photos of our poms. The event finishes on 5th May because it's "boys day" in Japan traditionally.
That's why we'll visit somewhere we can look upon koinoboris next year. Koinobori is very seasonal option in our country. (From April to 5th May.) We have to look for the place by next spring■
