However, a venture company Global energy produces a small wind power station which works with light wind. This small station is installed in Larapan island Sabah Malaysia.
In fact, there is a private electric generator. However, it requires some fuel and gives some pressure to local people economy.
Therefore, the generator was stopped in night after ten o’clock. Now the small wind station works 24-hours and lights street lamps all night.
Mr. Masahiko Suzuki the chairman of this company says “We began this business with three small turbines. They worked 24-hours and give some light over night. People in this village tell us that we are the God. We are impressed with their delight. We want to work not for money but for the environment.”
Malaysian government has idea to introduce this system to other islands. In addition, Indonesian government offers its introduction. The person who introduced this company to Malaysia is a Korean.
Japanese people are expected to support this project following him.
