on the other hand 単体でも使ことができ、相手の意見やアイデアを受けて「（その考え方もあるけど）こんなのはどう？」と相手とは異なる意見を言うときの切り出しとして使うことができます。口語では on the one hand を省略をして使うことが多いです。
