I have to take this.：ちょっと失礼します。
「私はこれを取らなければならない」ということです。this は鳴っている電話のこと。have to ～ は「～しなければならない」という意味で、電話を「取る」は take を用います。「この電話には出なくてはいけない、やむを得ない状況なので、ごめんなさい」という相手に断りを入れるときの定番のフレーズです。「ちょっと失礼します」のようなニュアンスが近いです。
have to を使うことによって、この電話を取ることがやむをえないことだと伝えて、相手に許しを請うようなニュアンスで使っています。ドラマのように Sorry をつけることで相手への申し訳なさも伝えています。電話ということで I have to take this call．も使います。

I have to take this.：［have to］の発音は「ハフトゥー 」よりも「ハフタァ」に近い感じで発音します。さらっと相手に断りを入れるトーンで言ってみましょう。

there is ～ は「～がある」という型で、Is there とここでは と疑問文で使っています。something famous は「何か有名なもの」 nearby は「近くに」ということです。

You're looking at it : the town itself.：目の前にあるじゃない。町そのものよ。
「あなたはそれを見ている。町そのもだよ」ということです。ニックの Is there something famous nearby?「何か有名なものがこの辺りにあるの？」という問いに対して、「あなたが見ている、目の前にあるこの町こそが有名なものだよ」と言っています。it は 前文の something famous を指しています。
