この著書が世に出た1910年の時点でワトルズは
今の世界の繁栄をすでに予知していたかの内容です。

THE FIRST PRINCIPLE IN THE SCIENCE OF GETTING RICH
金持ちになる第一の科学的法則
原文：
"Original substance moves according to its thoughts.
Every form and process you see in nature is the visible
expression of a thought in the original substance.
As it thinks of a form, it takes that form; as it thinks of
a motion, it makes that motion. That is the way all things
were created. We live in a thought world, and this world is
a part of a thought universe."

全ての根本となる原物質は思考しながら変化していきます。
Every form and process you see in nature is the visible expression
自然界で目にする一つ一つの形、プロセスはこの原物資の中にある
of a thought in the original substance.
思考を目に見える形に表現されたものなのです。
As it thinks of a form, it takes that form;
形を思考すれば、形となり
as it thinks of a motion, it makes that motion.
ある動作は、動作を思考した結果起きるものです。
That is the way all things were created
このようにして、この世に存在している全てのものは創られてきたのです。
We live in a thought world, and this world is a part of a thought universe
我々は思考する世界の中で生存し、この世界は思考する宇宙の一部なのです。
注）作者は思いを表現するのにかなり抽象的・概念的な言葉を
選んでおり、所々訳すのに哲学的な発想が求められます（汗）
書籍を訳し、内容を理解してからオーディオCDを
原文で聞くと、とても効果的です☆
本やCDは最低１００回は聞いてください。
きっと理解力が増していくことでしょう
そして、本は声を出して読む、
CDは聞いた内容を後から声に出す。
（いわゆるシャドーイングというやつです。）
そうすると英会話力が飛躍的にアップすることに気づくでしょう。
何事も基本を何度も続けることが肝心です。
