らしいですね。1986年のオーストラリア映画。少し聞こえてきた限りでは、Jamieが、しゃべってる～!と思いました。そっくり。これがオーストラリアアクセントね!と、納得していただけるでしょう。
時間はいつも通りに、19:00-21:00です。お楽しみに。
12日のPizzaパーティに、たくさんの方にきていただきました。
総勢30名以上+先生たちで活気あふれるパーティでした。

JamieとDavid watersのお誕生日が、7月11日。セブンイレブンなので、憶えやすいですね。
生徒さんから、たくさんのプレゼントをいただきました。シャンパン、お花、手ぬぐい、サンドイッチ、クッキー、お菓子、チョコレート、ビールなど、などたくさんいただきました。
本当に本当にありがとうございます。あと、ベランダ用の灰皿
もプレゼントでいただきました。
それから、次回のパーティ決まりました。

11日のVideOasisは、One flew over the cuckoo's nest
担当は、Phil です。
「いつもPhilは、コメディばかり」
・・・とみんなに思われているだろう
だから意表をついて、Philが選んできたのは、1975年の名作
です。アカデミー作品賞など、賞を総なめ。この映画から 有名になった人がたくさん。ジャックニコルソンは、この映画でアカデミー賞を初めてもらったこと、今日初めて知りました。
Philは、映画に思い入れがあるよう。原作も読んで、面白かったとのことですので、気合を入れて紹介して欲しかったのですが、できず。今日は、写真撮影があったりしてバタバタしてました。

It's July 4th tomorrow so I thought 'Why not celebrate this great moment in American history with a good old British comedy?'
This week it's one of my favourite comedians Peter Kay with his comedy Phoenix Nights. In it, our main character Brian Potter has his own social club (a kind of pub/ entertainment place) called the Phoenix club.
These clubs tend to be dull and boring places but Brian 'on 2 tablespoons of ambition 3 times a day' has a dream to make this place North West England's premier entertainment complex. He'll do whatever it takes to make his club a success, as we'll see in tomorrow's scene.
The comedy is set and filmed in a town called Bolton about 15 kilometres from my home town in Lancashire, North West England and the accent and dialect are typical to that area. Not really a black comedy this time. I'm not sure how to describe this comedy but I can promise you you'll be laughing.
Come on down to the Oasis tommorow, Tokyo's own premier entertainment complex and have a good crack (good time).
