I believe I chose the family I was born in.
生まれてくる家を自分で選んだそんな気がします
That's why I learned a lot at a young age.
だから幼いころに色々学ぶ家に生まれました。
Happy early childhood. But then my parents’ divorce.
幸せな幼少期。そして親の離婚。
My mother was very kind, but sometimes she was too kind.
母は優しすぎる位優しい人でした。
My grandmother was a strong lady descended from a samurai family, as well as a really nice person. She was worthy of respect from the bottom of my heart and what I learned from her became my treasure throughout my life.
凛とした武家の女性そのものの祖母は、本当に素敵な人でした。
Her house located around Saga castles’s moat was huge, and held a lot of happy memories for me.
The gate inside the castle was the best playground for me.
佐賀のお城のお堀の近くの家は広くて幸せな思い出が沢山ありまし
During this period, I learned about the way of life as a samurai, my family’s history, and academics from my grandmother’s book collection.
この時期、沢山の蔵書から、
My heart broken from the life I lived in Tokyo was healed by both my grandmother and an influential school teacher of mine.
東京で傷ついた心は祖母と恩師に出会い癒され立ち直りました。
That's why I want to save the children from suffering horrible experiences.
だからこそ私は幼い子供がひどい目にあうことをこの世から無くし
I want to eliminate bullying and abuse from this world.
この世からいじめも虐待も無くすこと。
I want both parents and children to know that bullying is the worst thing to do as a human being. For me it would be so embarrassing I could die. It is such a shameful thing to do, as our culture already has lessons like Bushido to help us lead an honourable life. We should be looking to protect those weaker than us. We should strive for a noble, expanded mind. This I learned from my grandmother’s teachings.
そのために祖母から学んだ生き方、先祖から学んだ学問（
I want everyone to know about the soul of the Japanese bushido. If we can learn from our noble past, I believe we have hope to begin to eliminate abuse and being to heal together as equals.
日本人としての魂を知ってほしい。
I believe that it is our destiny as humans.
それが天命だと思っているのです。
