It is currently Golden Week in Japan
As many of you may know, we call it Golden Week
because we have many holidays close together,
making it a long national holiday for most people.
I was surprised to hear though, that some international
schools in Japan do not have Golden Week.....although
they do have many other holidays during the year.
Anyway, it's not such a good idea to travel around in
Japan during Golden Week as it's crowded everywhere...
Golden Week usually is from Apr. 29 (Green Day) to
May 5 (Children's Day), so if you are planning to travel to
Japan, you should definitely avoid these dates
