Well, I want to write about Zojoji, my favorite temple, but I think it will take a few days. Zojoji temple has a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong history. Oops, so sorryあせる I made a spelling mistake though it's my favorite temple...I spelled Zozoji, so I corrected it. My apologies汗

So before that, I'll write about a seasonal menu "from HAWAII".やしの木ハイビスカス Eggs 'n Things is serving it right now.

"Broth Eggs" and "Hau'oli Fruits Pancakes" on this seasonal menu are available until the end of this month. JUNE ONLY!!  Check them out 虹 Only "Rainbow Shave Ice" will still be available after the "from Hawaii" menu ends on June 30th. I've tried all these three, so I'll introduce them with pictures.

The first one is "Broth Eggs" or "Eggs in Broth".

They say "Broth" means Bouillon, and "Broth Eggs" is Hawaiian rice soup.

Eggs 'n Things' "Broth Eggs" is served with grilled chichken, cabbage and tomatoes, and is topped with fried eggs (Sunny-side up) and cilantro. I know some people HATE cilantro while others love it. If you are a cilantro lover,  I recommend you have this item. I like cilantro, and I really like their "Broth Eggs". It tastes greatドキドキ If you don't like cilantro at all, I think you can ask the staff to serve "Broth Eggs" without cilantro when you order it.

The second one is "Hau'oli Fruits Pancakes"ぶどうバナナ Hau'oli Fruits Pancakes are very colorful and you can eat many kinds of fruits at one time.

I ピンクハート Eggs 'n Things.

"Hau'oli Fruits Pancakes" have 6 kinds of fruits: banana, blueberry, strawberry, pineapple, mango, and kiwifruit.サングラス

According to the Japanese Food Guide Spinning Top (it's an official one written in English) by the Ministry of Health, Labour (or Labor) and Welfare (English ver.) , and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (English ver. too), we need to take 200 grams of fruits per day, and the food guide uses SV, or serving, to calculate. So the recommended daily fruit intake 200 grams mean 2 SV.

And it seems that if you have 1dish "Hau'oli Fruits Pancakes", you can take the recommended daily ammount of fruits. Nice, isn't it?

Speaking of the MAFF (it stands for Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries), Shinjiro Koizumi is now the Director of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. His official website is here (written in Japanese, though). Sorry, I made a mistake. He is not the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. He is a director.

I want Shinjiro Koizumi to be the Prime Minister of Japan in the future, and I'm sure he will be. Maybe not all of you know who he is, but he is a very famous politician in Japan.

Anyway, these two (I mean "Broth Eggs" and "Hau'oli Fruits Pancakes") are so healthy and tasty. You should try them both, or either of them.音譜 Only about a week left. Hurry up!!

I hear that "Hau'oli" is a hawaiian word and it means happiness or happy in English. Also "Hau'oli la Hanau" means "Happy Birthday". We can order "Birthday Pancakes" at Eggs 'n Things. Well, I'll write about it some other time.ケーキ Maybe it's not on the menu, but I think many people have orderd it クラッカー

The third and the last one. "Rainbow Shave Ice" is a Hawaiian shaved ice. This is the firtst time Eggs 'n Things has served shaved ice. You can buy it to go! I mean, you can take away this shaved ice.カキ氷

You know what? I've had "Rainbow Shave Ice" three times so far.虹

The first time at Eggs Harajuku.

Second time at Eggs Ginza.

And the third time at Harajuku again.

Next month, Eggs 'n Things offers a new seasonal menu, "In Summer". It starts on July 1st, and one of the items is their shaved ice part 2, "Pine Shave Ice". I can't waitラブラブ

Also, some locations will be serving their own anniversary pancakes. Well, Shonan serves "Elima Pancakes" to celebrate its 5th anniversary, Fukuoka does "Ekolu Pancakes" to celebrate the 3rd anniversary, The Park Front Hotel's "Cookie & Fruits Pancakes" and a special drink "Tropical Frozen"for its 2nd anniversary, and Odaiba's "Hojicha Latte Pancakes" for the 3rd anniversary.

梅雨、or tsuyu, which means the rainy season in Japan, has started this year.雨 It's raining today.

虹 I hear that people can usually see a rainbow after the rain in Hawaii, but here in Japan, rainbows don't always appear after the rain雨

I think we can feel the atmosphere of Hawaii when we eat at Eggs 'n Things, though it's rainy outside. So come by Eggs 'n Things restaurants.トロピカルカクテルナイフとフォーク

A few years ago, with two of my best best friends.いちごぶどうバナナ I orderd Banana Sour Cream Creape with three toppings: blueberry, pineapple and strawberry.

Well, Eggs 'n Things has served so many amazing seasonal menus, and original menus of all the locations are awesome, too. Everything on these menus looks delicious and I'd love to try as many items as possible. I also want to write about the original menus some other time.

But don't forget their Grand Menu and Dinner Menu (available from 5 p.m.) are great, too. So today, I'll mention their Crepes, which are on their grand menu.

As I said before, we can add toppings to any pancake at Eggs 'n Things. Also, we can have crepes with your choice of topping.

To be honest, I like their pancakes better than crepes, but if you prefer crepes to pancakes, Eggs 'n Things offers not only pancakes but also crepes and waffles. I've never had waffles at Eggs 'n Things, and I'd like to try them someday.

A friend who ordered French Toast in the photo had an Omelet at other times. The other friend who is working abroad always has Eggs Benedict when we eat at Eggs 'n Things, as I mentioned before.

The same friend ate this one, too. I guess she likes Omelets while the other friend likes Eggs Benedicts.

Omelets are served with your choice of potatoes, rice, or toast.パン Also you choose cheese from these three: Cheddar, Mozzarella or Pepper jackチーズ

I also love Eggs Benedicts like my friend, and I've had eggs benedicts at Eggs 'n Things many times. But I've never tried their omelets, so I'd like to have them, too. Each location serves "Today's Special Omelet" or Omelet of the Day, and I sometimes think I should have eaten Mentaiko, or seasoned cod roe omelet with cheese that some locations offered before.あせる

"Spinach and Bacon Eggs Benedict"...maybe.汗I remember that I shared this one with a friend of mine, but I can't remember which eggs benedict we had. I mean, I forget the name of the dish. The Eggs Benedict in this photo is Spinach and Bacon one, right? )

This "Crab Cake ‐Honey Aurora Sauce‐ " was once on the grand menu, but they removed it from the menu  in April this year, I guess.
