Hi!
This is my first blog post in English.

I'm a Japanese girl who really really likes listening to music and reading books音譜本

My English is not perfect at all, and I'm still learning. I make many spelling or grammatical mistakes in English, but I sometimes make mistakes in Japanese, too!

There are many reasons why I decided to start this blog.

First of all, I want to improve my English skill so that I can talk about Japan and many other things in English お茶寿司おにぎり富士山日本

I also like visiting shrines and temples, and I had oppotunities to speak English.

I spent New Year's Eve at my favorite temple in Japan last year, and I made friends with some foreign tourists.絵馬鳥

An Australian girl told me that she came to that temple with her boyfriend because there were not so many places in Japan where people could party. She also said that in her country there are even fireworks to celebrate the coming New Year.花火

Also I met two Malaysian girls that day, and a few days later we talked over a cup of coffeeコーヒーThey told me about "Halal", the English education system, the king, the Prime Minister and the politics in Malaysia. I wanted to explain the Imperial Family of Japan to them, and it was difficult for me in English!

You know, the Emperor of Japan is the symbol and doesn't have any political power, while the Emperor once had it before the WWⅡended in 1945 and the new Constitution of Japan took effect on May 3, 1947.

I also met a Singaporean girl when I visited one of my favorite shrines in Tokyo神社
And we talked about Hainanese Chicken rice, a traditional dish in Singapore.
I'll write about my favorite shrines and temples some other time.

I found that not all of the foreign tourists used FB, or Facebook and some used Instagram instead.
But I don't have an Instagram account.

I usually post photos with English sentences on my FB, and I always notice that I've made some mistakes after posting them. But maybe we can't correct the text once we post it with some photos(more than one photo). So, I thought I would start an English blog. Oh, I'll put my FB banner or something like that on this blog, if I can.

Second, I often go to Eggs 'n Things restaurants in Japan and I want more foreign people who can't understand Japanese to know about its delicious dishes. Eggs 'n Things does serve generous pancakes and other items are great, too.
トロピカルカクテル

I sometimes check out their official website and FB accounts. Each location has its own FB page and introduces their menu, recommendations, and so on (and each started its original menu in this April. I want to write about it with photos, but not today).

I've never been to Eggs 'n Things in Hawaii, but I read its official site to learn more about Eggs 'n Things and English, too. Eggs 'n Things Hawaii has not only the official Japanese website but also its English version.

You know what?
There are many people from other countries who come by one of the Eggs 'n Things restaurants while they stay in Japan. So, I sometimes talk to them in English while I stand in a long line or have a meal at an Eggs restaurant (Yes, even in Japan).

Also I want to visit Eggs 'n Things restaurants in Hawaii someday, with my future husband.ラブラブ I have someone special in my life, and he can speak English much better than me!

It's me!

A photo of me with a Strawberry Cheese Pancakes at Eggs 'n Things Harajuku location in Japan, on March 10th this year. バースデーケーキ いちご

This pancake was an exclusive one to celebrate the 7th Anniversary of Eggs 'n Things in Japan.
They served two anniversary pancakes (the other one was a "Kona" Tiramisu Pancake) and both were limited-time offers. And March 10th was my birthday, too.バースデーケーキ

So, I sometimes introduce my favorite songs, seasonal menus or exclusive pancakes of Eggs 'n Things, and so on.
