OK, to tell the truth, I don't think 'DOOM' is a worse movie.

It contains SiFi, with pretty boys and men, also a beautiful woman scientist, and some scene was taken directly from the famous first-person shooting game. Also, you can learn the amazing transportation method - using some liquid to transfer you from one galaxy to another.

Why still it failed?

The biggest reason is the cast part. Karl Urban is good, but the Rock isn't. He has the sense of humor anyway, but is not suitable in a movie like this. Rosamond? Oh, no, she just like played a role in the college annual party, read the script and kept her eye wide open.

The another reason may be counted on the writers. OK, I know the game is great, famous, but if you just try to write a game-like movie, without someother meaningful part, or some more logical pilots, then, this movie has nothing more but just the awesome CG part.

But we're not here in the cinema, to just watch CGs. I perfer to staying home and playing the game instead.

I want a story.

But still, this movie is my kind of blablabla movie, for killing time and learning spoken English.

So...So...

Just think about some other game-adaption movies, most of them, failed, too, and becam the super bomb.

Maybe next time the game software company should consider well before sell out their copyright to the movie studio.

Or those boss should find some better writers and directors, with some smarter casting producers.

Don't just waste money on creating next-generation CG, technology is never-to-stop developing.

But story shall be the always-first point.
