It's a old movie, starring one of my fav actress Nicole Kidman, the whole story might be simple, young woman Nicole and her two kids lived in a old house, while her husband was on the battle field.
They always felt something strange in that house, lately, her daughter began to act like an old dying woman, while her son always saw something should not existed.
The whole movie was not the masterpiece, but is a good horror movie, from the very beginning to the end of the movie, I always was in the mood of being afraid, what if the kids were cursed... and Nicole must protect her kids away from the dangerous ghosts?
Finally, all were clear. The ghosts were ghosts, but the living people, they're ghosts, too... died long ago...
So it's like the new movie Passenger, starring Anne Hathaway.
Why their souls still stay in the house, why they want to live again?
Maybe the answer is not director wants us to consider and chase.
