Skura Brea
Skara Brae is a large stone vestiges of a colony of the Neolithic era, located on the Bay of Skaill on the west coast of Mainland, called Orkney that is in the Scotland. It is the most complete village of the Neolithic era in Europe. It consists of ten clustered houses, and was occupied from roughly 3180 BCE–2500 BCE.
It is one of the world heritage in Scotland.
5, Greyfriars Bobby
This faithful dog is standing near by Edinburgh castle. He was Sky Terrier. After his orner, John Grey died, Bobby stayed near the grave of Grey. And Bobby lived more 14 years and died in 1872. At his grave, some words are written. 〝 What is the loyalty and love to a master? He tells us.″

4, Palace of Holyroodhouse
This palace was originally temple, Holyrood Abbey. Scotland King David I built this building in 1128. Holyrood means seint cross. Now, Queen of England, Elizabeth II uses this palace in sumer as summer risort. While she does not stay there, we are able to see Palace of Holyroodhouse.
3, St,Margaret's Chapel
This chapel is the most oldest building in Edinburgh castel. In 12C, Scotland King David I started to build. He named this chapel from his mother, Margaret. In 14C, Earl of Thomas Randolph destroyed all the buildings in Edinburgh castle, but only this charch was not destroyed. Now, We can always see it except some days in the end of year and new year.
MilitalyTatoo is held in August every year. At this event, soldiers perform a parade and play the bagpipe. Many tourists visit Edinburgh in order to see this event. We, however, cannot see it if it were not for reservation. At last, soldiers and tourists sing 〝蛍の光″ togather in each languages.
One o'clock gun is shooted at 1:00PM exclude Sunday. People who live in Edinburgh and tourists check their clock and set it to this sound. At first, one o'clock gun is started in order to tell sailors the right time. So we can hear this sound at the place distant no less than 2 miles.
Edinburgh Castle
1. Place of Edinburgh Castle
There is the Edinburgh Castel near the center of Edinburgh city. Edinburgh is a Scottish capital and is the state capital of the Rosi Ann state. It is on a rocky mountain called castle lock, and it is symbol of the Edinburgh. In Scotland, many tourists come to see it next to a kelvin glove art gallery and museum of Glasgow.
2. History of Edinburgh Castle
King Edwin built it in the seventh century, and became the castle of the Scottish King here. However, it turned into the role as the fortress after war began. The Palace of Holyrood House was built at the beginning of the 16th century, and the role as the royal palace of the Edinburgh Castle was over. In other words it became base of the Scottish military so that many castles were so. There is the much highlight such as the cent marguerite chapel which is the oldest building to stay in a castle, and the palace whith is the center of the castle.
3. Charcteristic of Edinburgh Castle
There are 16,000 buildings told to be valuable in the castle. And here except Sunday, a blank called One O'clock Gun is fired every day at 1:00 p.m.
This ceremony seems to continue from June, 1861.

Until 1707, Scotland was The Kingdom of Scotland. But in this year, it was united with an English kingdom and became the Great Britain kingdom. Scotland is not an independent nation, and it is not a direct constitution state of the United Nations and European Union, too.
