First things first. I have been planning on writing this post last April but my mind is a mess that I can't even word.
Well that's it for the quick intro. 😂
Now, for the main content...
It has been 3 years since I have become a fan of this band. The band is called THE BEAT GARDEN. It's a Japanese band that I have been silently following and admiring for 3 years now.
I have found them by chance 3 years ago. That time, I bought an old issue of a certain idol magazine. As I browse the pages of the said magazine, I saw his name and got reminded that I still don't have a clue of his whereabouts. Because I have found the whereabouts of his groupmates in the picture so one day I thought of searching for him.
I was searching twitter for Watanabe Reiya's whereabouts until a certain fan tweet lead me to where he was. He had a group and it's called THE BEAT GARDEN.
I clicked the website that's linked on the tweet and check the member's profile on the website. Of course I need to get familiar with them, right? :))
Back then, they had just released "Boku ga Iru Mirai" short music video on youtube.
You all know the phrase "love at first sight", but for me it's LOVE AT FIRST HEAR. Yes, I instantly got interested watching only the short music video. I slowly searched for more and found mostly short music videos except for one and that's "Sky Drive"
I admit, I kept on replaying that music video. 😂
Moving on, I've then found them on spotify and yes, I bought a month worth of premium subscription just so that I can listen to them every single day. They're songs are just so damn good and you'll get hooked instantly!
If you'll gonna ask me what I liked about them it's their musicality and variety in songs -- well, that's quite vague... Just to say briefly, their songs varies from electropop, party, inspirational, lively, dance, sad, emotional type of songs. If you listen to it, you'll get what I mean (and probably that is if you go through all their songs). Explaining it like this isn't a cut out. 😔
Also, the other thing that I liked about them is their bond. I have been observing them for 3 years and I admire their friendship. They are closely knitted.
And one last thing, THEY LOVE BEEMER.
Who's BEEMER, you asked? It's what they call their fans. Cute, right? ♡(∩o∩)♡
I'm rather a silent fan of the group. They're not well known in the Philippines but I think they have a few fans abroad. One proof is when they got invited for an overseas event and because of that, I've got to read an English interview for the first time! It made me so happy!! I wish I could meet them too someday.
Because of the pandemic, I've got to watch their online concert on youtube. As I don't have the means, having their concert uploaded on youtube is a blessing. I got teary eyed as I watch the concert and sobbed hard when they performed "Just Before Dawn" -- it's one my favorite songs!!
Just to sum up, I'm so happy that I've got to know them and their music, their friendship and the fandom as well.
I'm really beyond words, thank you isn't enough to finish this blogpost. Their songs saved me at those dark times. I may be a silent fan but I support them with all my heart and I'll continue to follow and support them from afar (because I live overseas).
That would be all from an overseas BEEMER.

Oh before I forgot, I just want to share that U-kun followed me back on twitter. I woke up in the middle of the night and when I checked my twitter, I got a notification that U-kun followed me back. I thought I was dreaming that I kept on refreshing the page but apparently, I wasn't dreaming at all! I was so surpised!!
And also after that, I bought a cd from an acquaintance. I was surpised that he had a THE BEAT GARDEN CD so I immediately bought it. I'm so happy! It's one of my treasures. ✨✨

This is the end, it became long winded though.
I want them to read it but I'm actually shy. 👉👈 Because I can't even write a decent fan letter and here I am just writing a blog.
But still I hope it will reach them... some day.
