My second online event for this year. :D
This time, Yoshizawa Ryo celebrates his 12th year since he debuted. Time flew so fast, I guess?
This might be long so I have divided it into chapters under the cuts below. . .
「 show time! 」
After waiting for 5 minutes, the show began with Oryo. He was the event's main host and seeing his smug face made me laugh. :)))
He then introduced the guest for today's event, Imai Takafumi whom he had worked the most with. Imai-san and Oryo started working together at the stage play called "Black&White" so they have known each other since Oryo's early years as an actor.
They we're served drinks as we all know, Oryo loves drinking beer. 🍺🍻🍻
The live went on as a relaxing old man talk. Lol. Like literally. 😂 It was just so cozy that it's like you're watching the two of them talk normally and casually (with a pay. lol).
They had discussed a few of Oryo's works and Imai-san showed that he even have Oryo's Tokyo Revenger's photo card in his wallet. 👏👏
Oryo is also known as an otaku so they have also talked about manga and anime in the process. As Imai-san hadn't read a few recently, Oryo ended up telling the synopsis for Boku Aka (Boku no Hero Akademiya) wherein he will be part of the latest movie as a seiyuu (voice actor).
They even played a game too! The game was to draw a picture based on what they'll pick.
The first category was to draw "Yoshizawa Ryo" as picked by Yoshizawa Ryo himself.
Oryo drew himself like a super saiyan mode while Imai-san drew it like an anime character. 😂😂 Imai-san's drawing got me reminded of a character in Gegege no Kitaro. 😂😂
The next one is draw Sano Manjiro "Mikey" of Tokyo Revenger's.
Oryo drew Mikey so beautifully. ✨✨ He even stood up and imitated Mikey's pose in Tokyo Revengers. ✨✨
Moving on, they had also talked about Oryo's goods throughout the years as it was also displayed behind them.
Oryo showed the latest calendar. Imai-san also looked at the pile of calendars and revealed that he had the 2016-2017 calendar signed by Oryo.
They also promoted the newly released variety of goods which includes a thermo mug, a stretch band and a yoga mat.
Imai-san was surprised with the yoga mat and asked if the pillow was included to which Oryo replied that the pillow was part of last year's goodies. Oryo said that he use the yoga mat for stretching so, Imai-san then asked "how do usually you do (the stretching) in your dressing room and Oryo demonstrated. . .
As expected of Oryo who's a sleeper type of person. ✨✨😂😂
Imai-san also asked if he could also try the yoga mat. . .
After lying down, he praised how well made the yoga mat is and then. . .
YES, IMAI-SAN IMMEDIATELY BOUGHT THE SAMPLE PRODUCT!
Oryo and the staff was taken a surprise when Imai-san opened his wallet. (Not to mention Oryo's smug like face. 😅😂)
Imai-san was enjoying testing the yoga mat after and that after using it, he rolled it himself ready to take it home so the staff gave him the bag for the mat. 😅😅
They also talked a bit more promoting Oryo's projects and thanking fan for the support for the past 12 years and then bid goodbye.
「 experience in general 」
To be honest, this was too good to be true. Why'd you ask? The live lasted for around an hour and 20 minutes and yet I've paid 1200 jpy (1420 jpy if liveship fee included) and it was just too good for the price!!
For Ryu-chan's live that lasted for an hour and 50 something minutes, I've paid 2500 jpy.
Sorry, I didn't mean to compare with the pricing, it's just that I was surprised!!
Well, the experience in general was the same as Ryu-chan's. Words can't express how happy I was when Oryo's staff announced that they will hold a liveship event that I immediately bought a ticket the day after the announcement. 😂😂
I have always been envious of people who can attend Oryo's event and live talks as early as I can remember since I became a fan. So, attending one right now can't contain my happiness.
I'm looking forward to more of things like this in the future and please use an overseas fan friendly website again (*coughs* liveship *coughs*). (Yep, this is a copy paste. Lol)
「 untold stories 」
Well there are some of the untold stories about my experiences as a fan of Oryo but I'd only share one today. . .
As I was scrolling over twitter, I saw some of my old tweets of mine years ago and I seriously got goosebumps!!
One of which is this...
Apparently, this was tweeted in 2017 (as indicated) and that year was Oryo's break through year. I don't remember what my exact wish was but of course it has something to do with his career and as far as I remember I had it written on an old notebook but yeah, I need to go through my old stuffs for that. 😅
But anyway, yes, that's just one.
Most of people don't know as I don't post much about it on twitter and here in my journal that I used to be one of Oryo's big fans when he was still in his early years.
