1961年「HACレコード」からシングル「 I'm Still In Love With You / Not Good Enough」をリリースしてデビューしました。
1961年にシングルをもう一枚と、「THE SOFTWIDS」のグループ名でも1961年に「HACレコード」からシングルを1枚リリースしています。
1963年～1965年には「JONI KAY&THE CHAPELAIRES」や「MARIE RADONNA＆THE CHAPELAIRES」のグループ名でも3枚のシングルをリリースしました。
