みなさん、おはようございます。
お元気ですか？
私たち家族は、11月に入って大きな節目を迎え、
前回愛犬と、娘のほっこり奇跡な時間を
投稿した翌日から、愛犬さくらの体調が悪くなって、
2022年11月8日の午前天国へ行きました。
（13年3ヶ月）
後から知りましたが、その日は、今世紀最後の
皆既月食＆天王星食だったんですね。
さくらがいなくなる前日は、とてもいいお天気でしたが、
いなくなった日から雨天になり、昨日は、土砂降りでした。
でも、日本や、セドナでは、
とても良い天気で綺麗な満月、月食が見られたんですね。
みんなが、いつも以上にお空を見ている特別な日に
さくらは天へ帰って行ったんだなって。さくららしいなって思いました。
去年の8月から体調がアップダウン。
いつ逝ってもおかしくない日々。
13ヶ月の奇跡の連続。
もちろん現実は、綺麗なことばかりでなく、
介護の問題も直面しました。
寝不足続き、動けなくなったら
夫と二人で運んで庭まで行ったり、
体力的に自分も途方に暮れることもありました。
でも、時は、有限。
いつか終わりが来るんですね。
全てに。
人生を終える時に
いい終わり方ができたらと思います。
家族全員でお別れできたこと、
前日ずっと一緒に時を過ごせたことに感謝です。
そこにあるのは、
愛犬からの愛だけです。
常に、飼い主に寄り添い、
おうちに帰ってくるまで
待っててくれる。
今まで、どれだけ愛を送ってくれていたんだろうって。
本当に、ありがとう。
アメリカの知り合いが詩を送ってくれました。
虹の橋です。
虹の橋は全世界共通なのかな？
元々海外から日本へ来たのかな？
The Rainbow Bridge
inspired by a Norse legend
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.
