単純かつ当然のことですが、ビデオや絵を使いリアルで自然なストーリー性があることがより効果的な語学学習をする上での大切なポイントとなります。
ミーティングのプレゼンでも、様々なグラフやフローチャートそしてピクチャーなどを使い、メッセージを発する側も受ける側もよりスムーズに考えを整理し言葉に結び付けていきます。そういう意味で、ビジュアルなものとストーリー性を音声に結びつけ練習していく方法は、オーソドックスですが非常に効果的な学習法です。
例えば、“こちらでは、今日は天気がいいです。”を英文にするとするなら、まず、“It is fine,
today.”が無難なところでしょうが、青空をイメージすれば”We have a blue sky here today.“ とか“There is a
blue sky here and it is
sunny.”などいくつかの表現が考えられると思います。勿論、もっとも一般的な言い方をおぼえそれを使うのが基本ですが。

ビデオ、CD、テキストを組み合わせて使う中で、ビジュアルな部分と文脈を強く意識しつつ、文を見ずにスムーズにリピートしたり聞けたりするまで何回も練習をして下さい。 一日に２～３センテンスでもいいので。必ず、スムーズに話せ、聞ける感覚が少しずつ出来ていくはずです。
