We have very palatable Japanese plum wine collections, made from Japanese plums grown in KINAN region(WAKAYAMA Pref.), in KINOKUNI AKASAKA. Japanese plum wine so-called UMESHU is made by steeping Japanese UME plums in white distilled liquor or SHOCHU（Japanese distilled beverage less than 45% alcohol by volume）or SAKE(rice wine) and sugar until the flavor of the plum has infused into the alcohol. The sour flavor of the UME plums and the sweetness of the sugar combine to give UMESHU deep sweet or sour flavor. Best served chilled, but UMESHU can be enjoyed straight, mixed with soda, or combined with other beverages for a fruity cocktail, as you like!
